Basics of Circle Lens + Lunar Funky Lens review

I should have done this in the first post (╯.╰)- - -

Basics of Circle Lens
The best lenses to get are from Korea. Many other Asian countries sell circle lenses, but I find Korea to sell the best quality for lowest price. Lenses available/made in America tend to be made of a thicker material, causing less air to circulate through the eye, which causes dry eye and various other hazardous conditions when wearing for extended amounts of time. I've heard from an optometrist here in the states, that falling asleep while wearing the popular Halloween lenses sold at eye wear stores, can cause blindness and increase in poor vision. Though I've never done it with American lenses, I have slept (for a few hours) in Anime lenses  and only suffered dry eye- which was an extra pain in the ass getting them out!
Circle lenses have more variety, more detail, and overall look superior by blending colors and allowing the center to easily fade into the natural pupil and iris color. Euro lenses like Four Eyes use opaque colors, which are great for covering all eye colors, however always look fake. Circle lenses are thinner and use lighter coloring, which causes people with dark brown eyes to have a harder time finding blues and greens that are vivid.
Korean lenses run anywhere from $15-$60 where as American and European start at $50. Obtaining a pair of lenses from American and European companies require a prescription written by a doctor, however Korea and other Asian companies leave it to the buyer to know whats best for themselves.

If you require no vision improvement; You have perfect vision, then you want to order PLANO or 0.00.
If you need vision correction then you should know your power numbers for Left and Right. Most lenses can be made up to -10.0. Power increases in steps of -.25 until -6.00 then it increases by -.50. If you look hard enough you can find lenses up to -12.00 and rarely 14.00. If you ever find a site that offers this, please bookmark it and leave it in the comments! (>‿◠)✌

Select few circle lenses can be made in Toric lens, specialty lenses for astigmatism. Toric lenses are made with a custom curve and axis to fit the eye, these numbers would be the BC (Base curve), CYL right/left, and AX (axis) left/right when ordering. Toric lenses usually start at $70 per pair. Rumors I have heard, but not yet confirmed, is that Angel and Nudie series fit eyes with astigmatism better. I have also heard that tri-color lenses slide much more as well.
Even fewer shops offer Hyperopia lenses for farsightedness. The power for these lenses usually goes up to +5.00 increasing in steps of +.25 and start at $60 per pair.

Circle lens care--
If you don't have enough common sense to know that you keep your case clean and wash/rinse your lenses in saline solution, then you shouldn't be wearing them. Just about EVERY shop includes a step by step guide for those of you that need it. What the guides don't tell you is that when you receive the lens it is in a storage solution in the bottle or packet, and needs to soak in a standard cleaning solution for 6-8 hours. Many people open the lens bottle and immediately follow by putting the lens into their eye- and they wonder why it burns... (⊙.⊙(☉_☉)⊙.⊙)

~LUNAR LENS~
Natural color: Dark Brown
Color: 5.5
Detail: 3/5
Comfort: 4/5
Enlarge: 1/5
The Lunar lens is one I would recommend to those with dark eyes. The 2 tone coloring is opaque and able to cover just about every color of eye. Though the iris is covered, the natural color will effect the overall outcome of the lens color if you have very dark eyes. As seen above, my white lenses become a pale light blue- though who will really notice from far away? The vibrant color is very noticeable from far away even in darker rooms and shadows.
A down side to opaque lenses such as this is that defect is easily noticed. I received these lenses with one having a small spot that 'missed coloring' or something. Middle photo right side- let's see if you notice it now ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ   Aside from that small defect, then lenses have good detail for being "costume" or "Funky" lenses. The pupil center has a hard line so they will always have the fake look, and some wearers may notice the white edge in the corner(s) of their vision.
Comfort is pretty good, though not the best since I took them out after only 8hrs. Towards the end of the 8th hour my eyes were becoming red and dry, probably could be fixed by tear drops if needed to be worn longer, but the initial wearing time for me was max 8hrs
This is a standard size lens and does not have any noticeable enlarging effect.

Lens Review: e-circlelens.com & Pinkyparadise.com

Happy Valentine's Day. From me to you <3 Kurai.
e-circlelens.com, based out of Korea, is so far the ONLY store that I have found that sells Halloween and Anime lenses in prescription up to -10.00! They are not available in Toric lens (for astigmatism) however as being someone who has a slight astigmatism, I see just fine in the standard curve provided. I have used this store for costume lenses only, but they still have wide variety of circle lenses; Also decent selection of lenses available in Toric and even Hyperopia (farsightedness) which I have not seen on any sights until this one. These more advanced lenses start at about $70 a pair
Shipping was rather average, being 2 weeks to arrive in the west USA. Prices are a bit more than most lens shops, being $50 a pair, however by signing up on the site members get an additional $5 off all lenses.

This review is of the Solid White & Robot Lenses.
This shop provides an extensive instructional guide with every purchase (lol).

Like many sites, each pair of lenses purchased comes with a free case. This company by far has the biggest piece of shit lens cases ever! I highly suggest not using them, and purchasing ugly ones at the grocery store instead. The standard cases provided leak and will cause the lenses to dry out in very little time. I received a free travel case with my purchase, which works excellently! :)

The white lens is amazing! My natural eye color is a VERY DARK brown so most blue and purple colors do not show up on me, but the opaque white surprisingly hides virtually all color for being such a thin lens. As stated above, I do have an astigmatism, so I do have a very small portion of my natural eye that shows in the upper left corner. This is a defect in my eye, not the lens :p As someone who is an everyday wearer of contact lenses- I need only a few minuets to adjust to the White Lens. They are very comfortable, and I have worn them for up to 8 hours.

The photos above is having my eyes directed into light, where as the bottom photo is in more natural shadows- still a well lit room. This is where you can see the Robot lens is not so good.
I wasn't expecting much of the lens when I purchased it. Considering how dark my natural iris is and that this lens is gray.... yeah :/ The Robot lens does have the pupil area colored red, which I guess was my main reason for getting it- just to see what the pupil portion was like. As anyone could guess, it is how it looks- everything you see will have a red tint to it. Not worth the lack of cosmetic effect, but maybe worth the purchase if you are someone with a light blue or green iris.
The White Out lens can be purchased HERE
The Robot lens can be purchased HERE

All in all, my experience with e-circlelens.com was a good one. I will definitely be purchasing from them again. You can "like" them on their Facebook to see updates and sales:

Now, just for the hell of it, here are 3 radnom pics of lenses I have previously purchased from PinkyParadise.com
Pinky Paradise is my standard go to shop for circle lenses. They have a wide variety and tend to get the latest styles in first. They have a great rewards program, where you sign up and build points off of every purchase. Shipping is 2 weeks, and price for lens varies from $15-$30. They do not carry costume lenses in prescription (Plano only = 0.00 ; no prescription) Their facebook has a monthly photo contest which participants can win free circle lenses. Pinky Paradise facebook

I'll post a full review on Pinkyparadise once I make a more recent purchase from them.
